In a bid to develop its world footprint, Air India on Wednesday introduced the launch of recent flights connecting Mumbai with New York, Paris and Frankfurt, and the resumption of continuous flights connecting Delhi with Copenhagen, Milan and Vienna.

“This expansion comes as the airline continues to make progress in augmenting its fleet with newly leased aircraft, and the return of existing aircraft to active service,” Air India stated in a launch.

The new Mumbai-New York service will start February 14, 2023 and can function every day to John F Kennedy International Airport utilizing B777-200LR plane. The new flight will complement Air India’s current every day service from Delhi to John F Kennedy International Airport and 4 weekly flights to Newark Liberty airport, taking the provider’s India-US frequency to 47 continuous flights per week.

Four new weekly flights on the Delhi-Milan route will begin from February 1 and thrice-weekly flights on every of Delhi-Vienna and Delhi-Copenhagen commencing from February 18 and March 1, 2023, respectively. The airline has additionally deliberate three new weekly flights on the Mumbai-Paris route and 4 new weekly flights on Mumbai-Frankfurt, for which the schedule is but to be determined.
