Airport officers in India have seized greater than $3m (£2.5m) value of cocaine that had been hidden inside polystyrene balls in a courier bundle.

Staff Indra Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi made a surprising discovery after they discovered the medication in a sealed field which contained a whole bunch of white balls.

Upon slicing the balls open, officers discovered they contained smaller balls crammed with cocaine.

Local media reported that the medication, weighing round 1,900 grams, have been smuggled in a bundle from Brazil.

According to a authorities press launch from June 2023, an investigation is ongoing.
