Street food has an irreplaceable spot on every Indian foodie’s palate. Be it aloo tikki or samosa, Vada Pav or Puchka – there are so many wonderful street-style recipes out there. Every city would have a set of its most-loved street food recipes. Our favourite Bollywood celebrities too sample the popular treats from different cities across the country. Take Akshay Kumar, for instance. The actor visited Pune as part of his recent film’s promotion and he sampled the classic street-style recipe from the city. None other than Misal Pav! In the picture, we could see Akshay Kumar seated with his director Aanand L. Rai and his co-stars from the film ‘Raksha Bandhan’. “Har Punekar ki jaan aur shaan, misal paav,” wrote Akshay Kumar in the caption of the post. They were seated at a popular restaurant called Shrimant Misal Aani Barech Kahi in Pune. “After our hearts, now even our stomachs are full thanks to Shrimant Misal Aani Barech Kahi. Khoop chaan,” he added in the caption.
