Bhubaneswar (Odisha) [India], July 1 (ANI): The All Odisha Inter-Club Weightlifting Championship, 2023, ended on Friday. Held on the Biju Patnaik HPC Weightlifting Hall within the Kalinga Sports Complex, the medal ceremony recognised Sports Hostel Bhubaneswar whereas Beer Hanuman Club, Ganjam was the first runner up and Shankar Physical Club, Ganjam was the 2nd runner up.
The closing ceremony was attended by Sports & Youth Services Secretary, Vineel Krishna, Director of Sports, Siddhartha Das, and officers of the Sports Department. Also, in attendance have been representatives of High-Performance Centres.
The state-level match noticed over 200 gifted weightlifters from 10 districts and 20 weightlifting golf equipment throughout Odisha showcase their expertise and compete for supremacy.

Sports Hostel Bhubaneswar gained a complete of 21 medals with 12 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze. Amongst the ladies, Ranjit Mahi positioned first within the 55kg class and Debaki Khilla positioned first within the 64kg class. The 71kg class noticed Anjula Gound outperform her friends to bag the gold.
Day 3 commenced with Rajesh Balbantray successful within the 89kg class and Aditya Sahu within the 96kg class. Rudara Madhab Badatia etched his title on the gold within the 81kg class. Meanwhile, Raj Ranveer Khuntia secured the premier place within the 102kg+ class. Subhakanta Biswal and Asustosh Patnaik positioned first within the 109kg+ and the 109kg class. (ANI)
