Since Alone Season 8 has dropped it finale on August 19, 2021, the reality series lovers have been waiting for the updates on Alone Season 9.

Alone is a reality television series on History Channel. Alone typically leaves its contestants isolated with limited resources of survival types of equipment. The contestants are issued a kit of standard equipment, clothing, and first aid/emergency supplies. They can choose any ten items of survival gear from a pre-approved list of 40 items. The participants are also provided a set of cameras to capture their daily life experiences and emotions during the show. The winner usually gets a hefty cash prize. The last remaining contestant wins a $500,000 cash prize.

Alone Season 8 was filmed during Fall 2020 on the shores of Chilko Lake, British Columbia, a high-altitude glacial-fed lake on the dry eastern side of the Coast Mountains, which is also known as Grizzly Mountain. The lake’s surface is at over 3800 ft above sea level, making Season 8 the first Alpine season of Alone, being over 1000 ft higher in elevation than the next-highest season, Season 3, in Patagonia.

Milton native Clay Hayes is the winner of Alone Season 8 and earned the $500,000 grand prize.

History Channel is yet to announce Alone Season 9 but we could expect it around mid-2022. History Channel has already encouraged people to participate in the reality series.
