A well-liked free household occasion can be again at Alvaston Park this summer season. An enormous vary of actions and leisure is lined up for the Alvaston Park Community Fun Day on Sunday 23 July.
The annual summer season occasion, which is organised by Alvaston Park Friends in partnership with Derby City Council, was first held again in 2010. Since then, it has grown in recognition and now attracts 1000’s of tourists to the park.
This yr’s enjoyable day will characteristic singers, dancers and a band performing stay within the stage space. Performers embody The Invisible Friends choir, the duo Bone, Base & AJ, band Crazy 66 and dancers from each Nadia Jane Performing Arts and HEAT Academy.
There can be many free actions, together with a full-sized wrestling ring with stay motion wrestling, canine present, mannequin boat show, large bubble workshop and a circus workshop. The Alvaston Park Family Fun Day takes place on Sunday 23 July at Alvaston Park, Meadow Lane, DE24 8QQ, from noon till 4pm. Entry to the occasion is free. Parking prices £2.
