Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Sunday mentioned the stage is desolated by the absence of artists of big benefit like Vikram Gokhale and Tabassum. Vikram Gokhale, recognized for a number of Marathi and Hindi movies together with the Bachchan’s Agneepath (1990), died on Saturday as a result of multi-organ failure at a Pune-based hospital the place he was present process therapy. He was 77.

Tabassum, recognized for her work as a baby artiste in a number of Hindi classics reminiscent of Baiju Bawra and Mughal-e-Azam, and in addition as host of in style Doordarshan speak present Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan, died final week following cardiac arrest. She was 78.

“They got here to us in our lives… they performed their elements and left the stage empty forlorn and desolate by their absence .. (sic),” the veteran star wrote in his blog.

After Agneepath, Amitabh Bachchan and Vikram Gokhale also co-starred in the 1992 film Khuda Gawah. In 2020, Amitabh Bachchan played himself in the Marathi film AB Ani CD starring Vikram Gokhale. The duo played childhood friends in the Milind Lele directorial.

In a previous blog post, Bachchan had described Tabassum as an “effervescent” all-rounder.
