Dairy model Amul issued a clarification after it had its share of controversy not too long ago, because of a video of its lassi packets circulated on social media. In the viral video, we may see that the lassi packet was contaminated with fungus even earlier than its expiry date. The packet was opened and a layer of inexperienced fungus was seen within the video. The creator claimed that he drank the lassi and it tasted fairly dangerous, which is when he made the invention. However, the dairy model referred to as the video ‘faux’ and stated it was ‘getting used to create misinformation’ about Amul merchandise. Take a take a look at the tweet they shared right here:

“This is for your kind information that a fake message is being forwarded on Whatsapp and Social Media platforms regarding inferior quality of Amul Lassi. The creator of the video has not contacted us for clarification, nor the location has been disclosed,” the dairy firm stated in an announcement. “We wish to assure you that Amul Lassi is made at our state-of-the-art dairies and undergo strict quality checks for product quality and integrity of packaging. As standard practice, we mention on all our packs the following declaration for the safety of our customers, “DO NOT BUY PUFFED/LEAKY PACK.”
They further said that the packets seemed to be damaged from the straw hole area and liquid was leaking from it, which could probably have caused the discoloration and fungus development. “This video has been used to create misinformation and unfold pointless fear and concern amongst our customers. We request you to kindly share this message with your loved ones and pals and guarantee them concerning the goodness of Amul lassi,” they wrote.
