BAYFIELD, WI– After the annual festival was canceled last year, vendors and guests were happy to be back in Bayfield.

Apples took a variety of forms in ice cream, pies, cider, and crisp sweets.

Alexa Baughman, Apple Hill Orchard worker, said the festival meant more than guests may think.

“I think it means a lot it, it means more with getting back towards seeing everyone again and being able to get out and have fun and support all the local artists that are here as well,” Baughman said. “We haven’t really been able to do for the last year and a half or so,”.

The manager of Bayfield’s The Candy Shoppe, Tatum Cadotte mentioned the more people that came, the better for local businesses.

“In the winter nobody’s here so to have all these people to help our businesses is very awesome,”

Baughman agreed and said the thousands of people at the festival help grow businesses even more.

“Being able to actually have a stand and see people and see their faces walking by it definitely gets more business,” Baughman said.
