Comments are due by Wednesday September 23 on applications by Crewe Town Council for premises licenses covering three venues in the town centre.
The council is seeking approval from Cheshire East Council to enable plays, films, indoor sporting events, live and recorded music and the performance of dance and anything similar on any day between 8am and 11pm on Memorial Square (formerly Municipal Square), the elevated area outside the law courts and the old library and surrounding streets including parts of Earle Street, Prince Albert Street, Chester Street and Crewe Street in Crewe in Cheshire.
A similar application has been made covering the Market Square (Crewe Town Square) and parts of surrounding streets including Market Street, Victoria Street and Queensway.
A third application involves Lyceum Square including the car park, market sheds, Hill Street and Heath Street.
Representations on all three applications are due with the borough’s licensing section at Municipal Buildings, Earle Street by September 23, e-mail to licensing@cheshireeast.gov.uk.
