Aqua Comms expands to India, prepared for EMIC-1 cable

Openbyte Infrastructure is an India-based licensed telecoms firm “focused on providing neutral, open access landing solutions for submarine cables”, stated Aqua Comms, which is owned by Digital 9 Infrastructure (D9).

Aqua Comms chairman Alan Harper stated: “With our investment in EMIC-1, we are committed to the Indian market, a cornerstone of our ambitious global expansion plans.”

Vyas stated: “Over the next five to seven years the international digital infrastructure in India will be greatly enhanced and we at Aqua Comms will be at the forefront of bringing out this change for the better.”
