The Argentine Football Association’s coaching complicated in Ezeiza is now not named after Humberto Grondona, because it has been since 2014, with it being named after Lionel Messi as a tribute to the World Cup successful star.
With Claudio Tapia on the helm, the AFA paid tribute to its star participant by naming the three-storey complicated after him. The PSG participant was grateful for the popularity.
“I’m very grateful for this recognition, it’s very moving for me,” Messi admitted.
“I’ve been coming here for almost 20 years and from the first day I entered I felt a very special energy.
“This place is one thing sensational and to this present day each time I enter, I feel that the power on this place is one thing very particular.”
