EAST TAWAS – Tawas Bay Art Gallery in East Tawas has scheduled activities for the rest of September and the first week in October.

Drop-In Classes for Children:

• Sept. 26 – 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A Collage of their House. A fun class where children will draw and recreate their home onto a canvas with colored paper, scissors, glue, pens and their imagination.  Cost is $6 all supplies are included. 

• Oct. 3 – 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children will be creating leaves, dragons, boats, flowers, etc. with grated crayons. Fun with grating, ironing and designing a unique piece of art work. Cost is $5 and all supplies are included.

To be COVID-19 safe, the artists will have one family in at a time, and parents sign up for the time that works best for them. All work spaces are disinfected in between each family and masks are required.

Brush by the Bay:

• Sept. 29, from 6 to 9 p.m., or Sept. 30, from 1-4 p.m. Attendees will do a beautiful painting of Gingko Leaves all in shades of gold and gold metallic. Both classes are limited to eight people.  Cost is $40 all supplies are included. A deposit is required for this class. Masks are required.
