Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh‘s Health Minister Alo Libang on Friday appealed to the folks to cooperate with the state authorities for the well timed completion of growth tasks within the state.
Attending the Chalo Loku competition of the Nocte group at Khonsa, the headquarters of the Tirap district, the minister mentioned that the Pema Khandu-led authorities within the state has taken up varied growth tasks throughout the state — from Tawang within the west to Longding within the east.
“Construction work of the district hospitals and roads are going on in full swing, and the people should cooperate with the government departments for timely completion of the projects,” he mentioned.
Congratulating the Nocte group, Libang mentioned that each one tribal festivals within the state are primarily based on agriculture and the tribal persons are celebrating them since time immemorial.
“Simply talking about the preservation of culture will not serve the purpose of Chalo Loku or any other community festival, unless it is practiced, protected and promoted by the younger generation,” he mentioned.
