Here are some events happening now or in the near future:
“Masks and Makers”: This art exhibit is available virtually through the end of the month. It’s a production from the College of Central Florida Webber Center. “The exhibition showcases various masks, PPE, designs and approaches that have been produced during the COVID-19 pandemic,” according to a news bulletin. • Timberline Farm’s 11th Fall Festival: Music, pony rides, face painting, food and

• Awards ceremony: The 13th annual Applaud the Arts celebration will be an all-day event on Oct. 8 at the Marion Theatre, culminating with a 6 p.m. celebration. Guests at the celebration will receive pre-packaged food from local restaurants and be seated, safely distanced, inside the theater.
