A longtime company in Dauphin County has relocated.
B.R.P. Entertainment moved to 116 Cocoa Ave, first floor in Derry Township last month.
The 58-year-old company provide all types of entertainment and speakers for events across the country acting as a liaison between its clients and its artists. The company’s clients include casinos, associations, corporations, festivals and restaurants. Entertainment can include anything from stage shows to comedians, musicians, specialty acts and more.
“We love being in downtown Hershey and have a terrific location on Cocoa Avenue,” B.R.P. Entertainment president and owner, Lisa Stokes said in an e-mail. “B.R.P. Entertainment is open and looks forward to continuing our successful business offerings when people are once again able to gather for large events.”
The company relocated from a space on Laudermilch Drive in East Hanover Township, which it called home for eight years.
“We have had the good fortune of leasing our office space for the last eight years from [the] Hershey Trust at our Laudermilch Road Hershey location,” Stokes said. “The Trust notified us in late 2019 that the property was being sold, so we began looking for new office space in early 2020. Of course, the pandemic came upon us and our business obviously came to a screeching halt. During that time, this new location became available and we felt it was a great option.”
The company was founded in 1962 and it was previously known as Phillis Enterprises. Stokes purchased the company in 1999 and renamed the company B.R.P. Entertainment in honor of founder, Bruce Rohrbach.
