“The Bark Technology is not just looking for keywords like drugs, kill, suicide, etc,” said Tatiana Jordan, Chief Parenting Officer. “It’s actually looking at contextual analysis. And not just words, but emojis, memes, audio, video.”

 Bark works with as many as 23 schools and districts in Virginia. The names of these schools could not be released due to the company’s privacy policy, but this protects 17,000 students just in the Commonwealth alone.
