SFJ is a banned terrorist organisation in India and murdered Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar was part of it. However, the Canadian authorities is but to take any motion on it regardless of the group’s distinguished chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannun issuing a menace to Indo-Canadian Hindus by asking them to return to India.

Previous cases of Indian consulates being attacked
In the previous few months, there have been a number of cases of the Indian High Commission and consulates being focused by non-state actors.
In March, the Indian High Commission in London was focused by pro-Khalistani rioters who pulled down the Indian nationwide flag whereas agitating exterior the constructing.
In July, Khalistan males attacked the Indian consulate in San Francisco, USA and set hearth to the compound which was luckily doused rapidly by the authorities.
This was the second occasion when the San Francisco consulate was attacked by the radicals.
