CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College has retained Accelerate Sports Ventures, a Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) education and consulting firm as the school’s official NIL consultancy. Accelerate will create a full curriculum to instruct Boston College’s athletes, coaches and staff on NIL rules, and policies  in addition to identifying best practices for athlete marketing and branding opportunities. 
 
“We are excited about partnering with Doug and the team at Accelerate,” said Senior Associate Athletic Director, JM Caparro. “Their experiences both in the collegiate and professional world will be a valuable asset as they help guide our student-athletes through their NIL education in legal, financial, branding, licensing and education verticals.”

Boston College is the latest client to retain Accelerate as its NIL consultancy arm. Accelerate works with colleges, high schools, agencies, and corporate clients to support their NIL initiatives. Accelerate is also launching an online NIL educational course

Name, Image and Likeness 101, you are your own brand that will be available October 25.
