Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday stated the Congress manifesto bears Muslim League imprint, a part of it dominated by leftists. He additional took a jibe on the occasion’s ballot paperwork and referred to as it “jhooth ka pulinda” (bundle of lies).

Addressing an election rally in Saharanpur, Modi said, “The kind of manifesto the Congress released on Friday, reflects the same thinking that was prevalent in the Muslim League at the time of independence. “Worshipping shakti is a part of our natural spiritual journey. But, the people of the INDI alliance say their fight is against shakti,” Modi stated.

According to the election schedule, eight parliamentary constituencies in Uttar Pradesh will vote within the first part of Lok Sabha polls on April 19.

These are Saharanpur, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Nagina (SC), Moradabad, Rampur and Pilibhit. The counting of votes will likely be held on June 4.
