Big Hit Entertainment may acquire KOZ Entertainment.

On September 3, an industry representative reported that Big Hit Entertainment is planning to acquire KOZ Entertainment that was established by Zico. Big Hit Entertainment reportedly began the takeover process this year.

In response to the reports, Big Hit Entertainment shared, “We are open to various opportunities, but nothing has been decided yet.”

Last year, the agency acquired Source Music, home of GFRIEND, and earlier this year, they became the largest shareholder of Pledis Entertainment, home of SEVENTEEN and NU’EST.

In August of this year, Big Hit Entertainment passed the preliminary screening for its planned initial public offering (IPO), and the agency recently filed to go public on the stock market.
