Bengaluru, Aug 15 (UNI) Accusing the ruling BJP government in the state of creating an ‘atmosphere of fear’ in Karnataka, the state unit of Congress on Saturday alleged that police had arrested ‘innocent’ people, including ‘boys as little as 10-12 years’ in connection with the Bengaluru violence.
Speaking to newspersons here, former Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara, who heads the Congress’ fact-finding committee looking into the Pulakeshinagar riots, said that some 400 people have been arrested so far, including young boys. The father of one such boy died three hours after the minor was arrested, he added.
