BJP state vice president and Tura MDC Bernard Marak have wrapped up in a huge accusation. The West Garo Hills police discovered several items and alleged wrongdoing. Over this matter, he criticized Chief Minister Conrad Sangma for carrying out a raid on his farmhouse at Eden Bari on Friday evening. Miscreants have also pasted posters against him in Tura.

He condemn an alleged unauthorized raid. “This is being done without a warrant when I came to Shillong to attend the BJP State Executive meeting and to celebrate the Presidential victory,” he said.

“CM is using all state machineries against me as he was using the GHADC Executive Committee. He is desperate knowing that he is losing the Tura seat to BJP,” he further added.

According to the local police, the raid began around 6:30 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. midnight. Marak has been running this farmhouse for 7 years and it was popular by the name of RB.

During the seven long hours raid on his farm, the authorities found dozens of condoms, and 1000 liters of liquor has been seized. At least 60 people were detained while partying at RB. Most shockingly, the underage youth were found in the penitentiary locked at Marak’s so-called farmhouse.

The raid was a huge catch, WGH DC Swapnil Tembe along with Social welfare officers arrived in the area and took custody of the juveniles who were found living inside the dungeon-like room.
