Teaser affords a glimpse of resuscitating docs in darkish instances

The teaser of Doctor Slump hints at a rom-com with a playful and shocking twist, set to carry laughter to the viewers. It unfolds the story of two docs, Yeo Jeong Woo (performed by Park Hyung Sik) and Nam Ha Neul (performed by Park Shin Hye), navigating via the darkest intervals of their lives. Former rivals, the narrative follows their journey as they reunite and ultimately grow to be one another’s supply of sunshine, providing each laughter and luxury.

The first teaser, resembling a web page from a pure romance comedian, captures the expressions of the lead pair, invoking reminiscences of old flame. Jeong Woo’s narration, beginning sentimentally with “Back then, the girl I liked…,” takes a humourous flip to disclose, “Back then, the girl I absolutely loathed.” This intriguing shift in tone sparks curiosity concerning the dynamic of their relationship.

Nam Ha Neul’s narration provides one other layer, stating, “Back then, the boy I wanted to grab by the collar! We met again in the worst slump of our lives.” The teaser unfolds with a scene of the 2, bewildered, assembly after 14 years, as their previous and current intertwine.

Park Hyung Sik takes on the position of Yeo Jeong Woo, a star plastic surgeon going through the worst hunch of his life on account of a mysterious medical accident. Park Shin Hye, hailed because the rom-com queen, returns as Nam Ha Neul, a devoted anesthesiologist immersed in her work.

Doctor Slump marks the reunion of Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye a decade after their collaboration in The Heirs. The drama is scheduled to premiere on January 27 at 10:30 PM KST.
