NEW DELHI: BMW has quietly brought back the BMW 320d Sport to its Indian line-up after dropping it back in March. The entry-level diesel variant of the 3 Series portfolio has nothing new to offer.
The BMW 320d Sport starts at Rs 42.10 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The 320d Sport is placed below the BMW 320d Luxury in the 3 Series portfolio in India. The BMW 320d Sport costs a little above Rs 5 lakh less than the 320d Luxury.
The BMW 320d Sport is powered by the same 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine. The diesel engine churns out around 190 PS of power and offers a peak torque of 400 Nm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 320d can clock 0-100 kmph in 6.8 seconds.
In terms of features, the BMW 320d offers cruise control, launch control, rain-sensing wipers, 3-zone automatic climate control, powered front seats, driver-seat memory function, an 8.8-inch infotainment system and sunroof.
The BMW 320d also gets a complete LED lighting package with automatic LED headlamps and 17-inch alloy wheels. In terms of safety, the sedan is loaded with six airbags, ABS, ESC, traction control and front and rear parking sensors.
