Phnom Penh – CamID – the super app developed by Cambodia’s leading telecoms and digital technology company Metfone – has won the ‘Best Entertainment App of the Year’ award from the Globee Awards, the world’s renown business awards program and business ranking list.

CamID is an all-in-one App that serves as a digital passport for all the entertainment and essential online services for all mobile phone users. CamID provides a convenient digital hub for all users – including the cross-network ones – by combining all the special features from MyMetfone, Mocha App, and Cinema Service into one app.

Mr. Nhong Dinthan, Metfone’s Vice General Director, said that the super app was recognized with a prestigious award for its being innovative and entertaining. “CamID is the first of its kind in Cambodia – the single app for just everything. It has recently gained a lot of new users due to its innovative content and self-care, which includes movies, games, eSports, Chat, and Metfone+ all in one, allowing Metfone customers to manage everything in just one app,” said Mr. Dinthan.

According to the vice general director, CamID has just been added with a new feature that allows users to replace broken scratch cards. In the past, he said, when a customer’s scratch card damages, they had to visit the showroom to exchange for the new one, which was inconvenient for them and wasted their time. “Now, when your scratch card damages, what you should do is just go to CamID app and exchange it easily and quickly. It’s so easy,” Mr. Dinthan added.
