The Cattaraugus County Health Department confirmed a 138th case of the coronavirus Saturday.
According to a press release issued by the department, the latest case is a male who lives in the southeast quadrant of the county. The man developed congestion, a sore throat and headaches after coming into direct contact with a COVID-19 positive individual. The man was tested for COVID-19 on Thursday and received a positive test result on Friday.
The department has begun thorough contact tracing on the man.
There are six active COVID-19 cases in the county; 128 residents have recovered, and four have died.
