New Delhi, July 4 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case towards a Sub-Inspector and a Head Constable of Delhi Police, each posted in Paharganj Police Station, for allegedly demanding bribe from a complainant, the Central company stated on Tuesday.
It was alleged that each, Sub-Inspector Ravi and Head Constable Rajender Meel, had been allegedly demanding bribe of Rs three lakh from the Complainant for not taking motion in reference to the unlawful borewell within the plot of the Complainant and for not stopping his ongoing building work on the stated plot, CBI stated.
It was alleged that the accused diminished the bribe to Rs 2.50 lakh on repeated request of the complainant, it stated.
