New Delhi, Mar 18 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered a case towards a Commandant of CRPF posted in Lucknow on the allegations of possession of disproportionate property of Rs 5.61 crore (108% of his revenue).
Searches have been performed at 4 locations together with Lucknow, Noida, Mirzapur and Delhi, CBI stated in an announcement.
During searches, investments in immovable properties in Ranchi, Varanasi, Noida and Yamuna Expressway, value Rs 4.6 crore, deposit of Rs 1.02 crore, transactions of cash value Rs 6.18 crore within the checking account of accused, relations and firms managed by them and numerous paperwork associated to acquisition of movable/immovable property together with jewelry, buy of shares value crores have been discovered, it added.
