Central Mountain blanked Selinsgrove in girls tennis, 5-0, Monday afternoon in the Wildcats’ season opener.

Carolina Carpenetti earned a 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 1 singles and Olivia Anastos won, 6-3, 7-5, at No. 2 singles. Kati Kwiatek won easily at No. 3 singles thanks to a 6-1, 6-0 victory against Emeline Snook.

Caitlyn Dale and Ella Talbot (No. 1 doubles) and Claire Long and Ellie Gundy (No. 2) were also victorious. The Wildcats (1-0) play again today at Mifflinburg at 4 p.m.
