PHNOM PENH, March 12 (Xinhua) — Several Chinese tech corporations on Monday showcased their newest merchandise at a digital know-how expo right here in Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia, attracting crowds of tech fans.

Sien Soklida, advertising and marketing director of Huawei in Cambodia, mentioned quite a lot of Huawei’s newest merchandise resembling tablets and laptops, amongst others, have been displayed on the expo.

“Huawei has brought new technology to the expo like our new tablet that is the latest one in the global market,” he instructed Xinhua. “We also showcase MateBook series, or Huawei laptops, that their keyboards are water-resistant.”

Soklida mentioned Huawei model may be very in style in Cambodia because of its high-quality merchandise, with very aggressive costs.

“Huawei brand always focuses on quality, and most of the consumers trust our products because we offer a standard warranty and we have service centers here,” he mentioned.

He mentioned the expo gave an important alternative to Huawei to introduce its newest merchandise to all tech lovers.

Son Karona, a second-year pupil within the main of Information Technology on the Norton University in Phnom Penh, mentioned the expo gave her an important alternative to achieve insights into the newest developments of digital know-how on the earth.

“For technological equipment and devices made by Chinese companies, I am interested in laptop computers, which are thinner and more intelligent than before,” she instructed Xinhua whereas visiting the expo.

“Those laptops are Huawei products. For me, I think Huawei products have been updated well from year to year,” the 19-year-old pupil mentioned.

Held back-to-back with a digital authorities discussion board organized by Cambodia’s Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, the digital know-how expo, which can final until Wednesday, has introduced collectively 120 establishments and technological corporations.

“It is a platform to boost the development of digital technology and to share the latest evolution of digital technology around the world,” Cambodian Minister of Post and Telecommunications Chea Vandeth mentioned on the occasion.■
