City National Bank has shuffled its high management workforce, recruiting banking veteran Howard Hammond as CEO whereas Kelly Coffey shifts to a brand new function as CEO of City National Entertainment.
The transition, efficient Nov. 27, was prompted partially by City National’s want to focus extra deeply on its leisure consumer base throughout TV, movie, music, theater, touring and associated sectors. Coffey, who is predicated in Beverly Hills, has served as City National CEO since 2019, having joined the corporate from JPMorgan’s personal wealth administration division.

Hammond joins CNB from Fifth Third Bancorp, the place he was most lately govt VP and head of shopper banking. He studies to Greg Carmichael, City National Bank govt chair.
