“The police are trying to hush up the matter. They are trying to destroy the evidence and not inevestigating the matter in the proper way. We had a talk with the family of the victim. They have demanded a CBI probe into the incident. As a party, we also demand a a CBI inquiry. We will move high court in this regard and provide all legal assistance to the victim’s family,” mentioned Majumdar after assembly the household.
