The Revere school district became the final public school district in Summit County to release its plan for the 2020-21 school year when it announced Friday that students will attend school in-person five days a week.

Districts across the county are starting the new school year remotely, in-person or, in some cases, a combination of the two. Fall sports also are resuming, with football kicking off at some schools last week.

All districts also are offering an online-only option.

Here’s the current status for all Summit County school districts:

Akron

COVID-19 cases? Three confirmed cases of student-athletes from three different teams.

Academic status: Online only first nine weeks. Staggered start beginning Sept. 9.

Sports status: No sports or activities for first nine weeks, through Nov. 11.

Barberton

COVID-19 cases? Unknown.

Academic status: In-person five days per week. Staggered start beginning Aug. 31.

Sports status: All fall sports moving forward.

Copley-Fairlawn

COVID-19 cases? Unknown.

Academic status: Starting online for at least the first nine weeks beginning Aug. 31.

Sports status: All fall sports moving forward.

Coventry

COVID-19 cases? Unknown.

Academic status: K-2 in-person option, 3-12 remote/online only beginning Sept. 1.

Sports status: All fall sports moving forward.

Cuyahoga Falls

COVID-19 cases? Unknown.

Academic status: All-remote learning for students K-12 from Aug. 31 through Sept. 25. If pandemic conditions improve in September, the district will prepare for a “soft start,” with face-to-face instruction beginning the week of Sept. 28.

Sports status: All fall sports moving forward.

Green

COVID-19 cases? Unknown.

Academic status: Grades K-5 in school. Grades 6-12 online only. School year started Aug. 26

Sports status: All fall sports moving forward.

Hudson

COVID-19 cases? Unknown.

Academic status: Staggered start Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, with the student population divided alphabetically. All students report to school Sept. 2.

Manchester
