Uday Kotak, MD & Chairman of Kotak Mahindra speaks to ET Now about how the COVID disruption both in the society and economy has delayed the recovery process at IL&FS. As per Uday Kotak’s clarification on the bidders, he said that some bidders withdrew due to the Coronavirus pandemic, lays and approvals of some other cases have also impacted the loan recovery process. He says that COVID lockdown has hurt the committed sale of assets at IL&FS. He then states that the real estate has noticed the delay, which would have moved faster.
Nitin Gadkari stated that the aim of Atmanirbhar Bharat is to increase the contribution of MSME to GDP to 50% in the next 5 years. He also states that he has been in talks with investors from the Middle East, the United States, and the UK to invest in India’s MSME sector.
