Sri Lanka completed ninth and missed out on the Champions Trophy slot whereas Bangladesh ended up within the eighth place with 4 factors. India will face New Zealand within the first semi-final encounter whereas Australia and South Africa will face one another within the second semi-final match. Pakistan ended fifth with eight factors and a Net Run Rate (NRR) of -0.199.
