Davis Musical Theatre Company will host open auditions within the new 12 months for its two spring productions — “Fiddler on the Roof” and Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s “Mary Poppins Jr.”

“Fiddler on the Roof” tells the beloved story of the small, tradition-steeped city of Anatevka, Russia, the place Jews and Russians dwell in delicate stability. “Mary Poppins Jr.” follows the story of jack-of-all trades, Bert, who introduces us to England in 1910, and the troubled Banks household. Young Jane and Michael have despatched many a nanny packing earlier than Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a mixture of magic and customary sense, she should educate the members of the family learn how to worth one another once more.

Mary Poppins takes the kids on many magical and memorable adventures, however Jane and Michael aren’t the one ones upon whom she has a profound impact. Even grown-ups can be taught a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything Can Happen If You Let It Happen.”
