Kartik Aaryan seems to be in no mood to slow down as the actor finds himself working on one interesting project after another. Of the several films in his kitty, the one movie that is up for release soon and has the nation’s attention in Dhamaka. The thriller has grabbed people’s gaze since the launch of the first look, last year. Now the actor has shared a behind-the-scenes clip of the promo shoot on Instagram. Taken in one single shot, the behind-the-scenes clip features Kartik Aaryan ducking after a wooden frame crashes in front of him. He is soon escorted to a news reader’s desk by an assistant and handed a script to repeat.
A dazed Kartik Aaryan then looks straight at the camera and says, “Mai hu Arjun Pathak, Bharosa 24/7 se. Main jo bhi kahunga sach kahunga (I am Arjun Pathak from Bharosa 24/7. I will speak the truth and nothing but the truth),” before the clapboard with Dhamaka written on it covers his face.
The behind-the-scenes clip that is featured right below a snippet of the final promo shows the crew following the actor as he pulls off the scene with ease and confidence. Sharing the clip, Kartik Aaryan wrote, “ Jo bhi kahunga sach kahunga.” He also added the hashtags, “Arjun Pathak” , “ Dhamaka” and “19th Nov”.
The scene in question is part of the “mood promo” released during the recently held Netflix’s first-ever fan event, TUDUM.
The actor has constantly been keeping fans hooked to the upcoming film with photos and videos of Dhamaka. Recently, Kartik Aaryan shared an image of him as Arjun Pathak and quoted a famous ghazal in the caption. He wrote, “Tum itna jo muskura rahe ho….”
The trailer of Dhamaka was released in October and features Kartik Aaryan as a journalist Arjun Pathak. Arjun’s life takes a turn when he gets a call, while on-air, from a terrorist who threatens to blow up a bridge if his demands are not met. Making the situation more complicated is the fact the Arjun Pathak’s wife, Saumya Mehra– played by Mrunal Thakur — is reporting from the bomb-rigged bridge. Arjun Pathak’s choices will now only determine where his career goes but also the fate of those on the bridge.
