On Sunday, the most-loved Telugu star couple Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya announced their divorce on social media. Releasing a joint statement about their separation, the two confirmed parting ways as husband and wife in a long post. Now according to a report of an entertainment portal, Samantha has been offered alimony of Rs 200 crore by her ex-husband’s Naga family. However, reportedly, the actress is refusing to take the offered money.

Allegedly, the actress is said to be offended about the alimony offer, citing that she is a ‘self-made’ and ‘independent woman.’ Currently, Samantha is reportedly ‘heartbroken and ‘distraught’. She has also turned off comments on her divorce announcement post with ex-husband Naga Chaitanya.
