Diwali is here at last. And, we cannot stop gushing about this wonderful festival of lights. Bollywood celebrities, too, can’t keep themselves from spreading joy on this occasion. From posting photos about the celebration at their homes to wishing their fans a peaceful Diwali, our celebrities have already embraced the festive vibes. Diwali is not just another day for a mere photo dump. Instead, it’s a day to spread some warmth. And, the posts on social media are already showing us this bright side. From Amitabh Bachchan to Yami Gautam, stars are wishing their Instafam a hearty Diwali this year.
First up is veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan. He does not lose a chance to spread good vibes among his fans. And, Big B left a heartwarming message for Diwali too. In this post, the actor wrote, “May this Diwali be filled with the brilliance of lights, calm, peace and prosperity. Anek Anek such kamanaayein Deepavali ki [Many many good wishes for Diwali].”
Farhan Akhtar left a family postcard on Instagram where the Diwali Puja is underway. The photo radiates the joy of the festive season. The Bollywood star simply wrote in Hindi, “Happy Diwali.”
Tusshar Kapoor’s Diwali wishes poured in with a sweet photo featuring himself and sister, producer and director Ekta Kapoor. The siblings smiled for the camera and called it, “Diwali shenanigans.”
Soha Ali Khan‘s house is dazzling with lights, rangoli and beautiful decorations. How do we know? The actress showed us around the festive decorations on Instagram stories. We see colourful rangoli patterns, candles and lamps around her house.
Actress Pooja Hegde also gave us a glimpse of her home during Diwali. On her Instagram Stories, we see jars of marigolds kept alongside diyas. We definitely feel the homely warmth.
This is Yami Gautam’s first Diwali after her marriage. This year, the festival bears a freshness for her and it reflects in her post. She posted a photo with her husband, Aditya Dhar and wrote, “Every year, Diwali brings new memories and new beginnings.” She added, “Happy Chhoti Diwali to you and your family. Wish you a year full of happiness, health and success.”
Esha Gupta is spending her Diwali in a rather interesting way. The actress and model posed for the lens in a beautiful saree and traditional jewellery. She wrote, “Stole moms saree and jewels.” She added “Diwali” as a hashtag.
Here’s what Mouni Roy had to say on Diwali, “May the lights bring universal compassion, inner joy of peace, love and the awareness of the awesomeness of our present… Happy Choti Diwali.”
Shilpa Shetty has brightened our Diwali with an amazing photo of herself. She left a lovely note in her caption, which read, “As the festival of lights begins…Light up your lives with positivity, happiness, gratitude, love, and smiles… Happy Dhanteras, Happy Diwali. Stay healthy, stay happy.”
Sara Ali Khan added photos from her recent Kedarnath trip to wish her Instafam a happy Diwali. She wrote, “Happy Chhoti Diwali. Wishing everyone happiness, peace and prosperity.”
