DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The City of Dothan amended its alcohol ordinance.

This portion of the ordinance pertains to the Entertainment District in Downtown Dothan.

Now, throughout Downtown occasions, between 11 a.m. and midnight the town is permitting guests to legally perform alcoholic drinks from the institution they bought and nonetheless be capable of stroll within the downtown space.

Right now, the present ordinance prohibits downtown guests from finishing up alcoholic drinks.

Mayor Saliba stated amending the ordinance goes hand in hand with the longer term plans for downtown.
