Additional Secretary of the Health Ministry Dr. Saman Ratnayake who was arrested over the import of substandard human Immunoglobulin injections, has been remanded till March 14.

He was ordered to be remanded when he was produced earlier than the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court this morning.

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) arrested Dr Ratnayake yesterday after he arrived on the CID to supply an announcement.
