Eastern Health has entered into a partnership that will see the newest healthcare technology brought to the health authority.

The partnership, with BD-Canada, makes Eastern Health an innovation site for the company. That means the company will be able to test their products, such as medical devices and software, in a live healthcare environment.

Eastern Health CEO David Diamond calls the partnership a unique opportunity to find innovative solutions to positively impact quality of care.

He says the program will give patients in the province some of the first access to new technologies in North America.
