Special preparations have reportedly been made and common appeals issued by the authorities in Qatar and different Gulf states together with Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Muscat, Yemen, Sudan, Egypt, Tunisia, Iraq, Syria and Palestine to sight the Shawwal crescent moon immediately on Thursday, April 20, 2023 equivalent to twenty ninth of Ramadan 1444 AH, the Islamic Calendar.
