NCRT’s ‘Pintauro’

“Pintauro: An Evening of One Acts” opens at 8 p.m. Friday at North Coast Repertory Theatre, 300 Fifth St., Eureka. The present runs via Sept. 17.

“Pintauro: An Evening of One Acts” gives an “evening of powerful dramas by Joe Pintauro.” Pintauro (1930-2018) left the priesthood within the mid-Sixties to develop into a poet, playwright and writer.

With a profound exploration of the human condition, his works have left an indelible mark on literature and theater, inspiring audiences to ponder, reflect and evolve.”

This native manufacturing is directed by Cynthia Martells, and stars Scott Marcus, Jordan Keith Dobbins, Jaiden Clark, Toodie Boll, Racheal Houska, Gary Sommers, Dave Fuller, Mitch Finn, Finn Ferguson, Holly Robertson, Caroline Needham and Heather Yoda. The costume designer is Megan Hughes, with lighting/sound designed by Brain Butler and properties produced by Kelly Hughes.

Festival of Dreams

The Festival of Dreams — a brand new arts and tradition competition — will happen Aug. 25 to 27 at Halvorsen Park and in Old Town Eureka.
