Former Olympic rowing champion Rob Waddell has found himself in a battle with secondary school principals and other groups over an initiative aimed at broadcasting more school sport.
Does Waddell’s Sports Collective, which gives Sky TV exclusive rights to stream or broadcast school tournaments, events and matches, have the interests of the students at heart?
Or is it just about making money?
Does it put greater pressure on teenage athletes to succeed or will it help keep kids in sport, grow participation numbers and help fund youth sports events thoughout the country?
