Facebook customers can now apply for his or her share of a $725 million privacy lawsuit settlement if that they had accounts from May 2007 to December 2022.

Facebook’s father or mother firm, Meta, is doling out the funds to settle a lawsuit alleging it allowed Cambridge Analytica, a former British political consulting agency utilized by the 2016 Donald Trump presidential marketing campaign, to entry about 87 million customers’ private info.

To apply for the funds, folks can apply online or by mailing their kinds by Aug. 25.

The kind requires you to enter your title, tackle, contact info, birthday, Facebook deal with and fee info.

In 2018, Cambridge Analytica allegedly paid Facebook builders for person knowledge, which was then used to focus on voters within the 2016 election.
