MINNEAPOLIS — Fairview Health Services introduced Thursday that it’s eliminating about 250 staff from its hospitals and clinics by the tip of 2023.

The Minneapolis-based well being care system says the variety of staff impacted is lower than 1% of its workforce, with most of these staff in part-time positions.

In a press release, a Fairview spokesperson says the cuts come at a time when the trade faces “tremendous pressures,” together with “increasing labor costs, and payer reimbursements that don’t keep pace with inflation.”

Fairview operates 10 hospitals, 60 major care clinics, and several other specialty clinics in Minnesota, principally within the Twin Cities metro space.
