In her own words: 

“This past summer I worked Basic Cadet Training as a Director of Operations for Cobras Squadron.” 

“After graduation I hope to go to pilot training and travel!”

“What I have learned during this pandemic is to make the most of the experience that you are awarded! Having my senior season moved to the spring has been a blessing in disguise letting me spend more of my free time and playing the sport that I love!”

2019 (Junior): Appeared in all 18 games, making 17 starts…Totaled 1,248 minutes, including 80+ minutes in five contests… Aided on seven Air Force shutouts, which was the most for the Falcons since 2010 and ranked fifth in the conference…Had a goal and assist…Totaled three shots, with two on net…Goal came in the 3-0 win over Army West Point…Named Academic All-Conference…Named to the Dean’s and Comm’s lists.

 
2018 (Sophomore): Appeared in 15 matches as a reserve on defense…Totaled 799 minutes, including a season-high 86 against UNLV, Sept. 30… Team recorded a shutout in five of the games she appeared in…Named to the Academic All-Mountain West Team.

 
2017 (Freshman): Appeared in 12 matches, making five starts…attempted two shots, one on goal…Academic All-Mountain West.

 
Club/High School: Lettered three years in soccer…three-time all-conference…all-state tournament and East Metro girls soccer player of the year nominee as a senior…high school coach was Mark Abboud…played club soccer for Minnesota Thunder Academy, coached by Danny Storlien…National Honor Society and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

 
Personal: Member of cadet squadron 14 where she is the Character Officer … Daughter of Mark and Kammey Mahowald…has an older sister…nickname is Britt…majoring in biology with plans to become a pilot…Why I came to the Academy: “I came to the Academy for the opportunity to be amongst excellence and to push myself to serve my country and others to the best of my ability.” …hobbies are swimming, running and traveling…favorite food is ice cream…favorite class subject is science…enjoys listening to Khalid…favorite TV show is How I met your Mother…favorite movies are Hitch and Shawshank Redemption…person in history she’d most like to meet is Einstein…something not many people know about her is that she took a year of dance and cried every day (and then found soccer)…advice to young people is to work hard and maintain a good attitude…credits her teammates and her coach as having the biggest influence on her sports career…most noteworthy thing about her hometown is that it’s in the United States and not Canada…best personal moment in soccer is taking her high school team to state tournament for the first time in school history as a senior…enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as traveling, running, reading and swimming when away from soccer…favorite athlete is Carli Lloyd.
