Bollywood’s award season kickstarted with the 69th version of Filmfare Awards over the weekend. In the award ceremony this yr, which was held in Gujarat, celeb couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor received high appearing honors. Alia Bhatt took dwelling the Best Actress award for her position in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani whereas her husband Ranbir Kapoor received Best Actor award for his stellar efficiency in Animal. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal led the pack with a complete of 6 trophies whereas Vidhu Vino Chopra’s twelfth Fail received among the largest awards for the night time together with Best Film and Best Director. Vicky Kaushal, who was additionally nominated for Best Actor (Critics) for his position in Sam Bahadur, received Best Supporting Actor award for his impactful efficiency in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. Filmmaker David Dhawan was given the Lifetime Achievement Award. The Best Debut (Male) award was received by Faraaz actor Aditya Rawal. Farrey actress Alizeh Agnihotri received the Best Debut (Female) award.
